The Scope of BIGCO2
  

Technical research and development that may lead up to demonstration of new technologies for carbon capture and storage (CCS) at semi-industrial and industrial scale. The aim is to enable sustainable gas-fuelled power generation technologies based on carbon capture and safe storage of the CO2 in geological structures.

Emphasis is placed on knowledge pertaining to viable solutions for:

  • CO2 capture

  • CO2 chain analyses

  • Enhanced Oil and Gas Recovery (EOGR) with CO2 and geological storage of the CO2
